@dominik the mental model obviously is a given for each and everyone of us and there is no point in arguing which of them is correct. but I don’t think they are the primary reason for the effects. the global scope can be a lonely place. I’d rather pin it to the emergent effects of some bundle of decisions/differences/constraints which enables ‘culture’. (see https://hackr.de/2021/06/11/papierkorb-pt-195)
