Mit Tags einen Aufmerksamkeitsstrom erzeugen
Marshall Kirkpatrick hat einige gute Gedanken, wie man als Gruppe einen thematisch fokusierten Aufmerksamkeitsstrom via loser Zusammenarbeit erzeugen kann:
Nothing will appear in your attention stream that hasn’t been put there by another participant in the attention stream. It’s a way to send something to a group, but without clogging their email inboxes or getting caught in junk mail boxes. It’s very unobtrusive to subscribe to an RSS feed, and you will simply be notified when there are new items in the feed. You can read them or skip them, with very little clutter. There is the potential for outsiders to spam your stream, but if you chose a word or phrase that is unlikely to be used in any other than this very explicit circumstance – then the tag spammers are unlikely to find your stream at all.

Newsfeeds Lesen a la GTD
Daniel Miessler hat den Ansatz von GTD bzgl. des Lesens von Newsfeeds weitergedacht:
the urge to check the latest goings on in the blogsphere and/or news is overpowering. We simply can’t help but be distracted by the thought of something new and exciting hitting the Internet without us knowing. Much productivity is lost during the day specifically because of this phenomenon; but there’s hope. The answer lies in a two-step process — 1) using a dependable system, and 2) learning to trust that system.
Des Problems Lösung besteht dann einerseits darin, einfach auch mal loszulassen, sich nicht vom Wahn immer alles und unbedingt in Echtzeit zu rezipieren treiben zu lassen, und andererseits für sich einen effizienten (Shortcuts verwenden,…) und vertraubaren (ich erfasse alles, ich verpasse nichts,…) Workflow definieren.

Ich brauche eine kleine Gedächtnisstütze, sonst stürme ich immer vor und prozessiere schon, wo ich doch eigentlich aufnehmen und sammeln sollte, hat sich Dale Pike gedacht, und sich diese hübsche Ampel für GTD ausgedacht.
