Deshalb ein – schon einige Male geäusserter, jetzt auch schriftlicher – Vorschlag. Macht einen Problogger-Verband auf. Es gibt dafür gute Gründe:
1. könnt Ihr Euch über Vergütungen austauschen, ein Kartell gründen und die Preise anheben. Springer zum Beispiel wird bald ankopfen, Microsoft MSN auch und Yahoo ziemlich sicher. Da ist es gut, wenn auf der anderen Seite kein Dumping passiert.
2. seid Ihr für Interessierte aus der Wirtschaft problemlos zu lokalisieren. Man spart sich das Entdärmen, wenn man den Falschen fragt.
3. könnt Ihr Euch die Aufträge zuschubsen und müsst nicht mit Konkurrenz rechnen.
4. und wenn wir ehrlich sind, gibt es dieses Netzwerk schon heute in weiten Teilen der fraglichen Blogs. Verkettet die kleinen Netze, macht es erkennbar, und erspart Euch vielleicht die Abhängigkeiten von Blogvermarktern, die den grossen Kuchen bekommen, deren Krümel bei Euch landen.

Before launching the new Netscape I realized that Reddit, NewsVine, Delicious, and DIGG were all driven by a small number of highly-active users. I wrote a blog post about what drives these folks to do an hour to three hours a day of work for these sites which are not paying them for their time. In other words, they are volunteering their services. The response most of these folks gave back to me were that they enjoyed sharing the links they found and that they got satisfaction out of being an “expert” or “leader” in their communities.
Excellent… excellent (say that in a Darth Vadar/Darth Calacanis voice for extra impact).

Seiten/Anwendungen, die den long tail beackern (siehe), verteilen sich wohl als fat head (die Summe aller Bookmarks aller anderen Bookmarks-Manager ist viel kleiner als Anzahl der Bookmarks bei delicious, …).
(wobei es auch hier natürlich zu einer shorter tail Ausdifferenzierung kommt, bei der etwa auf bestimmte Themengebiete spezialisierte digg-Klone für wenige viel interessanter sind als digg, etc.)
