aBzYkW3Cihg - isn't growth a rather dull criterion? startups create delicate possibility spaces, the focus on growth tends to kill everything but the suspected winners. (I don't mind founders or VCs using this criterion if that' what they want to do and I agree that not every new business needs to be labeled a startup, but I think it's presumptuous and actually unhealthy to occupy the term that way)
