Realisr A Social Network For Getting Things Done

Sometimes you have an idea and all you need to do is to think about it, break it down into actionable tasks and then do or delegate them. Other times you have a fantastic idea, you think about it and then you drop it because you see no way to get it done with the resources available to you. Munich based realisr is a new social network which wants to help its members realising projects or ideas by providing a platform to attract people who might be interested in contributing.

Besides the standard social networking features (profiles, etc.) the site is a playground for emerging subnetworks forming around projects. realisr is no replacement for basic project management, the tasks and roles still need to be clarified etc., but it provides an informal way to find and coordintate participants.

Project owners have various ways to give an overview of the project, list and describe the roles and tasks which are needed, promote and categorize their project or invite people to join. Users then can take a look who else is already in, sign up for tasks and communicate with other participants.

Example: Settener Forrest Clean Up. Goal of the project is to clean the wooks near Setten; the project is looking for someone with a tractor and for any number of members who meet sometime equipped with a garbage bag to clean the wood.
