oSkope Visual Search Assistant

Berlin and Zurich based oscoped media gmbh just have launched oScope visual search, a visual search assistant which lets you browse images and products from popular websites like eBay, Amazon, YouTube and flickr in an intuitive way.

You select a site and pick a category or subcategory if applicable, or you search by keywords or search terms.

Search results are displayed as images in various views (as grid, stack, pile, list or graph.) If you roll over an image more information on the image, video or product is displayed and you can browse to the original web page.

You also can save results for your later convenience by dropping images into a folder. Since you can save results from various sources this might make oScope a useful comperative shopping assistant if other shopping sites like etsy, DaWanda, Shopping.com, etc. are added.
