Zeitkapsel Create Time Capsules For The Future

Speaking of memories (see our coverage of Memoloop) – Zeitkapsel (time capsule) is another smallish but noteworthy new German site which is all about memories. But while Memoloop is backwards looking, Zeitkapsel lets you encapsulate your memories and send them into the future.

You can create time capsules and add photos, videos, audio files and other documents. Then you specify who is allowed to open the time capsule and when. Your creativity is the limit for what you put into the time capsule and why you are sending it and to whom, but there are many use cases where a Zeitkapsel might make for a nice surprise for the recipient.

You can create public and private time capsules. The public ones will be visible to everyone, private time capsules will be openable by the specified recipient only. Currently both versions are free, but they plan to charge a small fee for private ones.
