Webquartett: Play Cards With German Startups

Don’t file it under disruptive innovation, but webquartett.de is a fun idea: you can compile and buy a card game by selecting 32 companies out of a pool of 53 German startups. It is also possible to create a card from the scratch if a company is not listed. Each startup is represented on a playing card and is ranked on 5 criteria: date of launch, number of founders, age of the youngest founder, authority at Technorati and originality of the concept.

The timing of the launch could have been better (i.e. in the holiday season), because it makes a nice and inexpensive gift for users, customers or business partners. The companies listed got a webquartett complimentary and they all loved it.
